What does the E3 message code mean?

The “E3” message is triggered when there is not enough water in the kettle. The E3 message is a safety measure to protect against dry-boiling and overheating. To prevent getting the E3 message, please fill the kettle with at least 12oz (350ml) of water when using it. To clear the E3 message, turn off the kettle and let it cool for a little bit.
